Duets for Fun contient des pièces de piano originales et faciles pour quatre mains, dont certaines sont dues à des arrangements de célèbres musiciens contemporains. Les plus anciennes datent du XVIIIe siècle, les plus récentes sont de notre temps. Stylistiquement parlant, en partant du classique et en passant par le romantisme, on en arrive au groupe des styles jazz-rock-pop. Une pièce comportant de l'improvisation et pour partie écrite en notation graphique vient même enrichir la collection. Le trait d'union de toutes les uvres est leur facilité de jeu. Même les parties un peu plus exigeantes de second piano sont aisément accessibles aux élèves de piano et aux amateurs. Ce recueil était auparavant publié en tant que 'Duo-Schatzkiste' (Un coffre à trésors de duos).
