[NO]Sjarmør-Even ble skrevet av Alf Prøysen (tekst) og Robert Normann (melodi) I 1965. Teksten alene ble første gang trykkeet som Lørdagsstubb i Arbeiderbladet den 14 juni 1965.
Etter dette ble teksten omarbeidet og tilrettelagt før innspilling av sangen 23 mars 1966 og utgivelse på platealbumet Prøysen på grammofon IV senere samme år.
Sangen er også kjent under navnet Even, Even, Even.
