A Little Prayer, a short prayer, is a short work by Evelyn Glennie, one of the most famous percussion soloists in the world. She originally composed this piece for marimba in order to show the soft and intimate sounds of this instrument. Evelyn Glennie herself is blind but that does not prevent her from being a great musician. Her remarkable musical ability makes her a welcome guest on international stages. The orchestration for wind orchestra is by Luc Vertommen.
