Colette Mourey (geboren 1954) ist eine französische klassische Gitarristin, Musikpädagogin, Musikwissenschaftlerin und Komponistin.
Die in Kenitra (Marokko) geborene Mourey studierte Musikwissenschaft an der Sorbonne bei Edith Weber und schloss ihr Studium mit dem Konzertexamen ab. Sie war zunächst klassische Gitarristin und Schülerin des uruguayischen Gitarristen Oscar Cacères und ist auch Pianistin.

Als Lehrerin unterrichtet sie Schreiben, Ästhetik und Musikdidaktik an der Université de Franche-Comté und an der École supérieure du professorat et de l'éducation [fr]. Außerdem engagiert sie sich bei der Vereinigung "Passeurs d'Art" für die Gründung von freien Kinderorchestern.

In ihrer Forschung geht sie von der atonalen Musik ihres Lehrers Julien Falk aus, um ein neues musikalisches System namens "Hypertonalität" zu entwickeln. Dieses basiert auf spiralförmigen Skalen (in Amplituden höher als die Oktave), die die atonalen Kontrapunkttechniken radikal umgestalten. Dies ermöglicht die Wiedereinführung "natürlicher Konsonanzen" in einer zeitgenössischen Sprache, was dazu beiträgt, die zeitgenössische Musik dem "allgemeinen Publikum" näher zu bringen.

Sie ist Autorin zahlreicher Bücher über Musikwissenschaft und -pädagogik.
