*Monroe City, Missouri, 1932, +Raytown, Missouri, 13. Dezember 1987. An der University of Kansas graduierte er 1958 zum Bachelor of Music. Von 1976 bis 1978 arbeitete er als Professor für Musiktheorie und Komposition an der Southeast Missouri State University. Danach wirkte er als freischaffender Komponist und Mitarbeiter der Verlage Wingert-Jones sowie Jenson.
