Urban Beat was commissioned by Tokyo Wind Harmony Orchestra. This work contains two parts.The first part is a fast tempo reminiscent of the urban highway, includes trumpet and alto saxophone solos (written but it's good for improvisation). The second part is a pop ballad that start with tenor saxophone's solo, and it gets excited gradually. After this, the first part appears again and head to the end. The introduction of this work is written in 5/4.

« Urban Beat » est un arrangement musical créé par le Tokyo Wind Harmony Orchestra. Cette œuvre comporte deux parties. La première est un tempo rapide qui nous rappelle l’autoroute urbaine ; elle comprend des solos de trompette et de saxophone alto (écrits mais parfaits pour les improvisations). La deuxième partie est quant à elle une ballade pop qui débute par un solo saxophone ténor, puis qui gravit graduellement. Après cela, c’est la première partie qui réapparaît et conclut l’arrangement. L'introduction de cette œuvre est écrite en 5/4.

Das Werk besteht aus zwei Teilen: Der erste Teil hat ein schnelles Tempo, das an den urbanen Highway erinnert, mit Trompeten- und Altsaxophonsoli (geschrieben, aber gut für die Improvisation). Der zweite Teil ist eine Pop-Ballade, die mit dem Solo des Tenorsaxophons beginnt und allmählich aufregend wird. Danach kehrt der erste Teil wieder zurück und führt zum Ende. Die Einführung dieses Werks ist in 5/4 geschrieben.
