'Nun danket alle Gott' ist ein beliebtes christliches Lied, geschrieben um 1636 von Martin Rinkart (1586-1649), der wiederum von Sirach, Kapitel 50 Verse 22-24, aus dem Lobgesang des Hohepriesters Simon inspiriert wurde. Es wurde im 19. Jahrhundert von Catherine Winkworth ins Englische übersetzt. Die Melodie für 'Nun danken wir alle unserem Gott' ist der 'Leuthen-Choral' und wird Johann Crüger zugeschrieben und um 1647 geschrieben, sie wird in J.S. Bachs BWV 386 und BWV 657 verwendet.
