Around the Whiskey Jar ist ein Medley, das auf fünf irischen Volksliedern basiert (Star of the County down, She moved through the fair, Maurice Manley's Polka, Down by the Salley Gardens, What should we do with the drunken Sailor). Die Idee des Arrangeurs war es, einige auch weniger bekannte Melodien zu benutzen und so gut wie möglich eine irische Atmosphäre zu schaffen.
