Ungarische Rhapsodie Nr. 2 cis-Moll für Blechbläserquintett Franz Liszt / Arr. Barry Cloke

Die 1847 komponierte Ungarische Rhapsodie für Klavier erfreute sich schnell großer Beliebtheit und wurde u. a. für Orchester und Klavier zu vier Händen arrangiert. Die vorliegende Bearbeitung für Blechbläserquintett fängt gekonnt das ungarische Flair und Lokalkolorit ein und bildet damit eine willkommene Bereicherung des Blechbläser-Repertoires.

Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody was composed in 1847 for piano solo. It soon became famous and was later arranged for orchestra as well as for piano for four hands. This arrangement for brass quintet successfully skilfully captures the flair, fun and temperament of the piece and therefore is a welcome addition to the brass repertoire.
