Dieses italienische Lied, auf Englisch bekannt als 'Time to say Goodbye', ist sehr bekannt geworden dank der Inte pretation vom italienischen blinden Tenor Andrea Bocelli. Nach dem Bocelli das 'Miserere' von Zucchero gesungen hatte, brachte Luciano Pavarotti ihn auf die internationale Bühne. Die Version von Sarah Brightman hat auch viel zu der internationalen Popularität dieses Liedes, das viel von einer Opernarie hat, beigetragen.
