Eric Swiggers (Deurne, 1968), ist zurzeit Dirigent des Harmonieorchesters St. Caecilia Lieshout und des Fanfarenorchesters 'De Notenkrakers' (Die Nusskracker) Vorstenbosch. Er hat schon verschiedene leichte Kompositionen für Blasorchester geschrieben. Diese reizende Ouvertüre wurde anlässlich des 125. Geburtstagsfeiers des Harmonieorchesters St. Caecilia aus Lieshout komponiert.
