A walk in the garden, among the scents of flowers and the encounter with the animals that populate it.
The titleThe brilliant colours of a garden in bloom, the fragrance which completely pervades us, the alternance of light and shade, the thin breeze which leades us to a sort of 'drunkenness of senses' these are the sensations that this composition gives us. The composer wanted to translate into musical terms the image of a garden in his most fantastic and grotesque aspects, as in the case of the ''Ants March'' (I time) or the ''Bugs Dance'' (III time) or abandoning himself to the intoxicating fragrance of the garden (II time). We can look at the garden through the proud eyes of the Gardner, through the unusual ones of a Turtle (Tortois promenade) rather than the Butterfly's ones, ending with the contemplation through ''The big gate of the garden''. This new composition of Daniele Carnevali can be certainly put into the ''original music'' repertory, accessible both under the aspects of difficulty and formation requirements, keeping at the same time a strong emotional force.
