The piece is fun, exciting and virtuosic, and it tests the ability and style of the four soloists, Clarinet, Oboe, Horn and Bassoon, and of the whole Wind Band.

Aus einem geheimnisvollen Incipit erhebt sich der thematische Ruf, der das Yo-Yo symbolisiert, gefolgt vom eigentlichen Thema, das unmittelbar und fesselnd durch einen fesselnden und dichten musikalischen Dialog mutiert und sich verwandelt und unerwartete und interessante Atmosphären erreicht. Das Stück ist unterhaltsam, spannend und virtuos und stellt das Können und den Stil der vier Solisten, Klarinette, Oboe, Horn und Fagott, sowie des gesamten Blasorchesters auf die Probe.
